Day 1 is DONE! After a long 83-mile ride, I’m happy to say my new knee was great thanks to Dr. Dave Eingorn of Mercer Bucks Orthopaedics.

Overall day one of the ride was perfect. The weather was great, the hills were rolling and the scenery was gorgeous. You really couldn’t have asked for a better day.

We started our ride in Auburn, NY and finished the day in Corning, NY. And what better way to end our day one than with a “slammin” BBQ dinner at Slammin Jammin Bar B Q. The food was delicious and definitely held up to its name of “Slammin!”

Day 1 of the 500 mile ride for Anchor House Ride for Runaways was exactly what you could have wanted in a ride. Good health, great weather, amazing company and some delicious food to end the day. Tomorrow we tackle another long ride from Corning, NY to Wellsboro, PA.

As always, this ride is for the children. If you’re able to donate to my ride, please on the link below. I’m hoping to hit $5,000 in donations before I finish my 500-mile ride.
